Newmarket’s senior rugby section currently comprises of three teams. last season the 1st XV gained promotion to London 3 North East, the 1st XV went the season undefeated in the League, losing only once, in the London & South East divisional final of the RFU Junior Vase Cup competition.
The development squad also had a successful season pushing hard in their league and reaching the final of the county cup competition, losing narrowly in the final to Saffron Waldon. They will be better for the experience and can look forward to building on last season.
The third team also had a very successful season. With a strong core of players from last season and some new additions it is expected that the thirds will make a significant contribution to the playing strength in depth of the club this season. 

This season's team captains will be announced soon, pre season training will commence on Thursday 8th July from 7pm at the clubhouse.
